Supportive, collaborative clinical supervision in Virginia and DC for pre-licensed therapists and early-career clinicians
At Coastal Collaborative Care, we believe great therapists are built through great supervision. Whether you’re pursuing licensure or refining your clinical skills, our supervision and consultation services are designed to help you grow with confidence, integrity, and compassion.
Clinical Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapist
If you’re working toward licensure as an LPC or LCSW, we offer individual and small group supervision in Virginia and DC that aligns with both your clinical goals and your professional values.
We specialize in supporting new therapists who are:
- Navigating the early years of clinical practice
- Interested in eating disorder treatment, OCD therapy (including ERP), and/or trauma-informed care
- Seeking neurodivergent-affirming, HAES®-aligned, and LGBTQ+ affirming supervision
- Hoping to explore and define their clinical identity in a safe, collaborative space
- Looking for practical, real-world strategies to support client outcomes — without burning out
We view supervision as more than a licensure checkbox. It’s a chance to co-reflect, build clinical intuition, and develop sustainable, ethical practices grounded in who you are and who you want to be as a clinician.

“Gabby is an incredible supervisor – dedicated, thorough, and always there to provide support. She offers a powerful balance of comprehensively processing clinical matters, while encouraging you to take steps on your own to gain and strengthen your clinical skill set. I left my supervision period feeling confident, and with a greater capacity and knowledge base to problem solve and offer the best care possible to my clients.”
RACHAEL SCHOLL, LCSW, THERAPIST
“I had the privilege of having Gabby as my LCSW supervisor. Her level of expertise, the dedication in training her supervisee’s, and warmth/empathetic approach shaped me into the clinician I am today. Before I had Gabby as my supervisor, I struggled with confidence as a therapist. Through her guidance, support, and meeting me where I was at, I saw my confidence increase significantly over the time I worked with her. I am so grateful that I had Gabby as my supervisor and I would highly recommend her for anyone seeking LCSW supervision!”
ILANA SIMKOL, LCSW, THERAPIST
